There are times in your life when the pain becomes unbearable and you want to talk to someone about what you are going through, but at the same time you are afraid to say because you don't want to be judged.
You know that pain you feel when no one is looking; When the time feels like it's against you and all you want to do is give up? That pain no one knows about.
That pain you feel when you’re in a huge crowd socializing with everyone but putting that mask on just to smile when approached; That deep pain you feel like someone is taking a sharp object to cut into your skin. The pain you feel no one understands, that heartfelt pain which cannot be explained.
I believe we all go through this silent pain, but how do you deal with this pain?
Do you let this pain consume you? Letting this pain control your life, dictating when you are to be happy or when to be sad.
I have had numerous pains like that. The pain was so intense that is it caused me to withdraw myself from my surroundings constantly having anxiety attacks. I was emotionally unstable but physically well.
There were days that I did not feel like getting up out of bed. Just laying there in bed would be great or telling a mire lie that you are not feeling well because you don't want to go to work. Not even wanting to go to church because to you what sense does it make to go when you are going to feel the same way after the service is finished?
Yeah, I know what you feel when you go through these pains, but what if just for once, you let someone understand the pain that you are feeling? I've learned that the more you talk about these problems, the more relieved you become after each conversation because you are letting go of all the toxic that has been built up inside of you for a while.
Do not allow yourself to go through these pains alone. It is dangerous! Your mental health matters; you matter. Don't allow anyone to come into your space telling you otherwise. You were called for such a time as this. You are stronger than you think.
God reminds us in His Word that "he will never leave you nor forsake you" when you're down and that pain hits, just remember read or quote these Scriptures.
Deuteronomy 31:8 - And the LORD, he [it is] that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Deuteronomy 31:6 - Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Hebrews 13:5 - [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Isaiah 41:10-13 - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
1 Peter 5:7 - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
